About synthesized short peptides
The Saint Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology (SPIBG), part of the North-Western Branch of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, has spent years developing a class of peptide-based supplements. By analysing the amino-acid sequences of peptides extracted from organs and tissues, researchers developed physiologically active short peptides, later defined as a class of cytogenes — the synthesized short peptides.
This class acts more quickly than extracts. Extracted peptides, known as the cytomax class or natural peptides, work in a more gradual manner, because they carry the specific physiological environment of the tissue they were taken from — the amino acids and microelements typical of that tissue, in both quantity and quality.
Because the two classes behave differently, SPIBG suggests using them in sequence rather than together.
This product is a health supplement and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. For guidance on how to combine synthesized and natural peptides in a programme suited to you, please speak to a Medi Therapie practitioner.
